Baby's First Photos

We have fallen a little behind in our posts (this probably won't be the last time that happens), but wanted to share some of Abigail's first pictures.  We had our 19 1/2 week ultrasound on January 24.  Here is a sampling  of photos from the ultrasound.

This is her heartbeat. At this time her fetal heart rate was 151 beats per minute.

Here is her beautiful profile. The head is on the right, then her belly, and her legs sticking up in the air.

And lastly, a picture of her with her hand in her mouth.

It was such a special experience for us to see such details of her growth and development, and especially to see her move her little arms and legs.  We were very relieved to hear that everything looked well.   Modern technology and the people who run it are truly miraculous.  We are grateful to have a healthy, growing baby.
